What Can I Do?
Below we have information for Residents of Thorhild County for our proposed Land Use Bylaw, and there is also some information for residents of other municipalities.
Thorhild County: What you need to do right now:
Contact your Councillor
Tell them you want them to vote against the proposed Land Use Bylaw and defeat it
Request a Second Public Hearing
Talk to your Councillor and our CAO. If Council refuses to defeat the bylaw, ask that a second public hearing be held BEFORE the second reading and AFTER the amendments have been made to the proposed Bylaw 14-2022.
Go to Council Meetings
Keep our Councillors accountable to the people who elect them. Meetings are every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. at the Thorhild County Building.
